Mike's Comics and Games will be hosting the Prerelease for the newest Magic expansion: Bloomburrow! The Prerelease weekend will start by replacing Friday Night Magic on July 26th and hosting additional events on both Saturday and Sunday.
Welcome to Valley, the pastoral and vibrant home to the animalfolk of Bloomburrow, Magic's first all-animal plane. It's a place where bug adventure await even the smallest who are bold, inquisitive, and heroic, while those with more homespun and peaceable yearnings can enjoy tranquil life.
But peace is endangered in Valley as the delicate nature is threatened, and the elemental calamity beasts imperil the lives of its inhabitants. The animalfolk will have to band together to defend their homes.
This is your first chance to play with the new cards and discover the plane of Bloomburrow. Each Prerelease pack comes with six play booster packs used to build your deck, a dated foil promo card and a spin-down life counter. Prize packs will be awarded based on the standings.
The Prerelease schedule will be:
July, 26 - 7PM
July, 27 - 1PM
July, 28 - 1PM
With the release of Bloomburrow, Standard will rotate and the following sets will no longer be legal for play in Friday Night Magic or any other Standard tournament:
- Innistrad: Midnight Hunt
- Innistrad: Crimson Vow
- Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty
- Streets of New Capenna
