Magic: The Gathering returns to Tarkir in the newest expansion, Tarkir: Dragonstorm.
Return to Tarkir for an epic battle between dragons and clans; discover which clan fits your playstyle with distinct three-color gameplay, and add draconic power to your collection.
Fight dragons with dragons! Tarkir faces a full-scale draconic assault, pitting clan against clan and all of civilization against a maelstrom of wings, claws, and fire. Choose one of five clans and discover your favorite way to play, then master the fearsome Dragonstorms and summon dragons of your own to rain down fiery devastation!
The Prerelease is your first opportunity to play with the new cards and have a good time with your friends. You will receive a Prerelease Pack of the clan you choose to make your deck. Then you will do epic battle with your opponents to bring glory to your clan and be the masters of Tarkir.
Each Prerelease Pack contains:
- 6 Play Booster packs (seeded with your chosen clan’s cards.)
- 1 date-stamped Prerelease promo card
- 1 spin-down life counter (colors vary)
If you play in two or more Prereleases during the weekend, you will receive a collectable pin!
The schedule for Prerelease is:
- Friday, April 4th — 7PM (replaces FNM)
- Saturday, April 5th — 1PM
- Sunday, April 6th — 1PM
