Star Trek is coming to Magic: The Gathering and your mission is to beam down to the shop and play in the Prerelease. Assemble your crew, engage in battle, and discover new worlds.
Mike’s Comics and Games is proud to host the Prerelease for Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek on November 6th and 7th, 2026. The Prerelease will replace FNM on that Friday.
The Prelease is your first opportunity to play with the latest expansion for Magic: The Gathering before the set is available for release. Hang out with your friends and experience 60 years of Star Trek history!
You will receive a Prerelease Pack that contains 6 booster packs, a promo card, and a spindown life counter. You build a deck of at least 40 cards from these packs, and you can use the promo card if it fits.
Then you will do battle against your opponents as you take on the role of a starship captain. Will you uphold the Federation ideals, find glory and honor in battle, generate profits from the gamma quadrant, fight the Dominion or play a game of cat and mouse in the Neutral Zone? The possibilities are endless!
Bring a friend, set your phasers to stun, and make it so. Prizes will be awarded to the top winners.
The cost for the Prerelease is $48.
